Cinema Workshop​​​​​​​
From 13 to 18 October 2021
A five days workshop with art students from Bordeaux. The objective is to make a short film based on the model of the web-series "Foxy Five", directed by Jabulile, in which 5 women go to war against the patriarchy. Each participant will have to identify something they want to see disappear in society and will make a short film showing how they put it into practice.

About Jabulile Nadia Newman (South Africa)
Jabu Nadia Newman is an artist who works through the mediums of photography and film. Using an agenda of pushing intersectional feminism her work is largely based on the different and complex identities of South African womxn. The creator of SA’s newest feminist web series The Foxy Five, which has been featured on prestigious media platforms as Okayafrica, Mail & Guardian, The Citypress and others which completed 6 episodes between June 2016 and June 2017. Since then, she is developing different projets about photography and cinema.
